Biography
Valerie Dolan is a Civil Litigation Paralegal. Prior to joining Hangley Aronchick Segal Pudlin & Schiller, she worked as a paralegal with Dolchin, Slotkin & Todd, P.C. specializing in estate planning, estate administration, corporate, immigration, personal injury, medical malpractice, legal malpractice, and contracts, and also worked as a civil and commercial litigation paralegal with Shulick Law Offices.
Valerie was an active member of the Philadelphia Association of Paralegals, and has previously held officer positions including Board Advisor (2008-2009), President (2006-2007), Second Vice President (2005), and Treasurer (2004). As President, Valerie also served as an Ex-Officio Member of the Board of Governors of the Philadelphia Bar Association (2006-2007). Over the years, she has served on the following PAP committees: Education Conference, Newsletter, 30th Anniversary, Professional Development, Public Relations & Marketing, Immigration, and as both Primary and Secondary Delegate for both the National Federation of Paralegal Associations and the Keystone Alliance of Paralegal Associations.
Valerie currently serves the Region IV Director for the National Federation of Paralegal Associations and has also served as the Co-Coordinator of the Armed Forces Committee (2010-2011), Co-Coordinator of the Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee (2003-2006), and as a Member of the Strategic Planning Committee (2005-2007). She has also served as Co-Chairperson of the Keystone Alliance Certification Program (2008-2009), which developed the Pennsylvania Certified Paralegal Program currently offered to the Paralegals throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; Chairperson of the Keystone Alliance of Paralegal Associations (2008); and as a member of the Regulation Ad Hoc Committee (2007).
Valerie obtained her R.P. (Registered Paralegal) designation on June 1, 2004, and her Pa.C.P. (Pennsylvania Certified Paralegal) designation on March 13, 2009.
