Biography

Mr. Matour concentrates his practice in the areas of corporate reorganization, bankruptcy, and commercial workouts, with more than 25 years' experience representing debtors, creditors and other parties in bankruptcy cases.  He also has extensive experience handling corporate transactions and business litigation.  Mr. Matour is listed in both Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business, and in Best Lawyers in America

Mr. Matour is a founding Director of the Consumer Bankruptcy Assistance Project, a contributing editor of The Bankruptcy Strategist, a member of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania Bankruptcy Conference and the American Bankruptcy Institute.  He is a 1980 cum laude graduate of Widener University School of Law, where he served on Law Review and was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society.  In 1976, he received his B.A. in Psychology from LaSalle University.
