Richard J. Goldstein Selected to Serve as President of the Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey

Cherry Hill, NJ – September 26, 2006 – Richard J. Goldstein, a shareholder in the law firm of Hangley Aronchick Segal & Pudlin’s Real Estate Department, was recently selected to serve as President of the Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey.  Mr. Goldstein will be installed as President on October 18th.

The Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey encompasses Camden, Burlington, and Gloucester Counties in the State of New Jersey.  It serves a Jewish population of approximately 50,000 through a network of local, national and international agencies.  Locally, Federation supports a wide range of programs and services--some provided by agencies that it owns and operates, others by area synagogues, religious schools and other institutions.  Federation supports many national Jewish agencies involved with such important work as immigration, community relations, Jewish education and culture, and support services for local agencies.

Mr. Goldstein is the Responsible Attorney for the firm’s Cherry Hill, New Jersey office.  He has represented developers for almost 30 years.  In addition to being selected to serve as President of the Jewish Federation, Mr. Goldstein's community activities have included serving as Vice President and member of the Executive Committee of the Katz Jewish Community Center, a member of the Board of Directors of Harry B. Kellman Academy and Congregation Beth El.  He also served for two terms as General Chairman of the Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey’s Annual Campaign.  Mr. Goldstein is a former chairman of the Cherry Hill Township Zoning Board of Adjustment and a former member of the Executive Committee of Hangley Aronchick Segal & Pudlin and of the Real Property Section of The Philadelphia Bar Association.
