Sozi P. Tulante Appointed to Nationalities Service Center Board of Trustees


Philadelphia, PAOctober 10, 2006Sozi P. Tulante, a litigation associate at Hangley Aronchick Segal & Pudlin, was recently selected to serve on the Nationalities Service Center’s Board of Trustees.  The mission of the Nationalities Service Center is to help immigrants and refugees participate fully in American Society by helping them to protect their legal rights, strengthening families and promoting self-sufficiency, eliminating barriers caused by language and cultural difference and promoting public awareness of the benefits of diversity in American Society. 

Mr. Tulante’s service on the Board of Trustees of the Nationalities Service Center is the culmination of a 23-year relationship that his family has had with the organization.  In 1983, the Nationalities Service Center sponsored Mr. Tulante’s family, who had just fled from the Democratic Republic of Congo as political refugees, by providing loans, English lessons, and other assistance to them to help Mr. Tulante and his family resettle in Philadelphia.

Mr. Tulante graduated cum laude from Harvard Law School in 2001.  He received his B.A., cum laude, from Harvard College in 1997.  In addition to serving on the Nationalities Service Center Board he is also a member of LEADERSHIP Philadelphia’s 2007 Core Class.
