Hangley Aronchick Segal & Pudlin's Wendy Beetlestone Appointed Co-Chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association's Legislative Liaison Committee for 2008


 

Philadelphia, PA – January 2, 2008 - Wendy Beetlestone, an education law and litigation shareholder at Hangley Aronchick Segal & Pudlin, recently was appointed by A. Michael Pratt, the new Chancellor of the Philadelphia Bar Association as Co-Chair of the Legislative Liaison Committee for 2008. 

The Legislative Liaison Committee brings to the attention of the Officers, Board, Divisions, Sections, Committees and Members of the Bar Association various federal, state and local legislative and administrative matters of interest to the Association, serves as liaison between the legislative counsel of the Association and the Divisions, Sections and Committees on such matters and monitors the status of such matters.

Ms. Beetlestone concentrates her practice in commercial litigation and has developed a practice serving education clients. Prior to joining Hangley Aronchick Segal & Pudlin, she was General Counsel of the School District of Philadelphia.  Ms. Beetlestone graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 1993 where she served as Articles Editor of the Law Review from 1992-1993 and as Associate Editor from 1991-1992. She received her B.A. with honors from Liverpool University in 1984.
