Rebecca Y. Starr Selected to Speak at Brown Club of Philadelphia Event
Philadelphia, PA – May 17, 2005 – Rebecca Y. Starr, an associate in the Litigation Department of Hangley Aronchick Segal & Pudlin, was selected to speak at the Brown Club of Philadelphia’s alumni event entitled “Climbing the Mountain and Taking the Leap: Alumni Talk About Career Change.” The event is scheduled for June 9th from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the offices of Wolf Block.
Rebecca Starr concentrates her practice in both criminal and complex civil litigation in the state and federal courts. Prior to joining Hangley Aronchick Segal & Pudlin, Ms. Starr was an Assistant Defender with the Defender Association of Philadelphia litigating felony and misdemeanor cases. She received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in 2000. Ms. Starr received her A.B. in Anthropology from Brown University in 1993 where she focused her studies on Archaeology, excavating both in Rhode Island and in Israel. Before becoming an attorney, Ms. Starr was an Assistant Director of Admission at Brown University and the Program Director at the Dorot Foundation.
