Peter H. LeVan, Jr. Selected to Serve on Mayor's Advisory Council
Philadelphia, PA – May 3, 2005 – Peter H. LeVan, Jr., a shareholder with the law firm of Hangley Aronchick Segal & Pudlin, was recently selected to serve on the Mayor’s Advisory Council in Washington Township, New Jersey.
The Mayor’s Advisory Council was created by the Mayor of Washington Township to assist with current and long term strategic planning issues associated with commercial development, residential growth and quality of life issues. The Council meets on a monthly basis and is made up of a diverse cross-section of the Township’s citizenry.
Mr. LeVan practices in the firm’s Philadelphia and Cherry Hill offices. He is a shareholder in the Litigation department focusing on employment law, ERISA litigation, governmental representation, and complex commercial litigation. Mr. LeVan was a 2004 Recipient of the Equal Justice Award, given in recognition of his outstanding dedication and pro bono service to the cause of equal justice. Prior to serving on the Mayor’s Advisory Council, he acted as Assistant Solicitor for the Borough of Swarthmore in Pennsylvania.
