Hangley Aronchick Segal Pudlin & Schiller shareholders Wendy Beetlestone and Michele D. Hangley and associate Jessica O’Neill recently participated in the Judicial Intern Opportunity Program (JIOP) Orientation at the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. JIOP 2012, a program of the American Bar Association Section of Litigation, works to improve the diversity of the profession by placing minority and economically disadvantaged law students in internships with federal and state judges.

Michele Hangley, who currently serves as Regional Co-Chair of JIOP, moderated the program. Wendy Beetlestone spoke to interns about the benefits of joining bar associations and foundations, and Jessica O’Neill spoke about her experience as a judicial clerk. Other speakers included several judges and local attorneys.
