In U.S. News and World Report’s Best Law Firms 2011 rankings, Hangley Aronchick Segal & Pudlin has been recognized for excellence.

Nationally, Hangley Aronchick was named a Tier 2 firm for General Commercial Litigation, higher than many large, international firms. In Philadelphia, the firm was ranked in Tier 1 for Education Law, Environmental Law, Family Law, and General Commercial Litigation. In addition, the Insurance, Media & First Amendment, and Bankruptcy & Creditor-Debtor Rights practices were recognized as Tier 2 in Philadelphia, and the Antitrust practice was named to Tier 3 in Philadelphia.

These rankings were determined by client and lawyer surveys, as well as each firm’s recent transactional and litigation work, pro bono commitment, and diversity. Clients and attorneys voted on the skills, responsiveness, cost-effectiveness, integrity, and civility of the firms, as well as the likelihood of their giving a firm a referral. Attorneys were also asked if they considered a firm a worthy competitor.
