Alyssa Bennett counsels insurers and reinsurers on coverage policies, disputes and contracts, helping clients anticipate potential challenges and exclusions. She analyzes insurance policies, exclusions, endorsements, contracts, including indemnity provisions and obligations, and assesses an insurer’s responsibilities and potential exposures under the policies. These policies include general commercial liability, property and casualty and reps and warranties.
Experienced in legal research and writing, Alyssa explores legal issues specific to the insurance industry, reviewing case law, policy exclusions and interpretations and industry standards to draft coverage opinions and letters. She also authors reservation of rights and disclaimer letters, and should litigation move forward, pens memoranda, motions and pleads to move a case forward.
While in law school, Alyssa was a legal intern at the Drexel Civil Litigation Field Clinic, where she guided clients through the process of family court proceedings.
