Liz McBride counsels and defends insurers in coverage disputes involving professional liability, errors and omissions, employment liability, construction defects, motor vehicle and trucking, fraud, cyber, assault and battery, liquor liability, life insurance, and abuse and molestation claims.
She helps clients proactively manage potential issues through coverage research and analysis and preparation of coverage opinions and letters, providing guidance for insurers and reinsurers on exclusions and liabilities. Liz is experienced with all stages of disputes, settlement negotiations and arbitration, skilled in drafting motions for discovery, summary judgment and judgment on the pleadings, document requests, examination under oath letters, and settlement agreements. She has taken depositions in first- and third-party matters, appeared for case management conferences and attended site inspections for property damage claims.
In college, Elizabeth played NCAA Division III soccer, basketball, softball, and lacrosse, and was selected captain of both soccer and basketball teams. While in law school she served as the executive vice chair of the Moot Court Board.
