Martha Osisek advises insurers on various coverage matters. Her work includes reviewing and analyzing policies and providing coverage opinions and corresponding position letters outlining an insurer’s first or third-party obligations.

Should a dispute arise, Martha handles all stages of litigation, from conducting early-stage fact finding to managing all aspects of discovery to negotiating settlements on behalf of her clients. She drafts pleadings and motions for cases in state and federal courts, settlement agreements, and other key documents. Martha also researches general legal issues for commercial disputes, writes legal memoranda laying out key issues, and works with colleagues to develop arguments and strategy.

Durling law school, Martha was a legal intern at the Motion Picture Association where she analyzed antitrust regulations, piracy laws and enforcement and copyright issues affecting the various member studios. Her work also included drafting comments in response to a notice of inquiry.
