Michael Masciandaro counsels clients across a wide range of subject areas, with a focus on commercial and business disputes, legal malpractice and ethics, and public law. He has successfully represented clients at all stages of litigation, from trial to appeal, in both state and federal court, as well as in agency and alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
Litigation frequently demands the ability to synthesize vast bodies of information into a coherent statement of a client’s position, in written filings and in court. Michael’s experience and educational background make him uniquely suited to do that. He has partnered with entities ranging from local nonprofits to multinational corporations in complex commercial litigation, and he has represented and counseled public officials, lawyers, and judges in matters related to professional ethics, fiduciary duty, and public powers and authority.
Michael is currently a member of the University of Pennsylvania Law School’s Inn of Court, and he has served on Law360’s editorial board for Pennsylvania and as a board observer to the Education Law Center. Before joining the firm, Michael was a law clerk for the Honorable D. Michael Fisher of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
