Hangley Aronchick is proud to announce that shareholder Mark Aronchick has been awarded the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Bar Medal! The Bar Medal is reserved for the highest accomplishments and most impressive achievements. It is not awarded every year; it is presented at the discretion of the Chancellor in recognition of extraordinary service, and only when it is felt that someone has contributed to the justice system or the community in a manner that is sustained, extraordinary, and worthy of emulation. Aronchick and Abraham Reich received the prestigious honor at an awards ceremony on April 16, 2019.

There have been approximately twenty five recipients since the Bar Medal was first presented in 1970. Previous winners have included U.S. Sen. Arlen Specter, former Homeland Security Secretary and former Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Ridge, Gov. Edward G. Rendell, the late Judge A. Leon Higginbotham Jr., U.S. District Court Judge Charles Weiner, J. Clayton Undercofler, former Chancellor Joseph H. Foster, the late Judge William J. Marutani, and former Chancellor Harold Cramer.
