A successful practice comes as much from strong client relationships as it does from your win-loss record…you truly are not measured solely by whether you won the last motion or case.

Insurance Coverage Shareholders Ronald Schiller and Daniel Layden were featured in the article “Leading Coverage Lawyers Share ‘If I Knew Then What I Knew Now,'” which appears in the latest issue of Coverage Opinions. In the article, Schiller and Layden were asked to give advice on the practice of insurance law to attorneys just starting in the field. They discussed a number of topics, including the need to develop strong relationships with clients through consistent advocacy and having the patience and focus to see a matter through to the end, even if preliminary motions don’t go your way.

This article originally appeared in the April 28, 2021 issue of Coverage Opinions (Vol. 10, Issue 3).
