Clients often have questions we cannot answer such as, “What are my chances of winning my custody case?” But now, more than ever, I am stuck. I cannot answer the one question everyone is asking, “When will things get better?”

COVID-19 has disrupted life across all sectors, and family law is no exception. Worry for themselves, their children, and at-risk family members can add more stress for clients in custody matters, and their family law attorneys can help by giving their clients can simple, straightforward advice: communicate with the other parent. This is a time for to work together and cooperate, putting aside acrimony for the health of well-being of others.
