Environmental Law chair Steve Miano will moderate a conversation providing the “2026 Water Law Update” at the Pennsylvania Bar Institute’s Environmental Law Forum on April 22, 2026. Emma Bast and Adam Duh will join for Steve to help provide updates on the most critical water issues of the past year.
Panelists will outline some major developments in water law, including CWA Jurisdiction (WOTUS) and related litigation, PFAS-PFOA updates, litigation over narrative water standards, energy and data center related water issues and enforcement issues. They will also examine Pennsylvania-specific updates, spill reporting updates, water quality issues, and other regulatory and litigation developments. This panel is designed for both experienced water practitioners and general practitioners looking to keep up-to-date on the latest water issues.
