Ellen Heiman

Litigation

Ellen Heiman helps corporate and individual clients resolve complex commercial and business disputes. Before joining the firm, she served as a law clerk to the Honorable Cynthia M. Rufe of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and to the Honorable Marjorie O. Rendell of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. She also was a litigation associate in the San Francisco office of a global law firm. Ellen earned her JD, magna cum laude, from University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and her BS, summa cum laude, from Vanderbilt University.

Alyssa Bennett

Insurance Coverage, Litigation

Alyssa Bennett counsels insurers and reinsurers on coverage policies, disputes and contracts, helping clients anticipate potential challenges and exclusions. While in law school, Alyssa was a legal intern at the Drexel Civil Litigation Field Clinic, where she guided clients through the process of family court proceedings. Alyssa earned her JD from Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law and her BA, magna cum laude, from High Point University.

Sara Smith

Litigation

Sara Smith litigates complex commercial disputes in state and federal trial and appellate courts. Before joining the firm, Sara was an associate at an international law firm, where her work included False Claims Act actions, and toxic tort and products liability cases and appeals before state appellate courts in Pennsylvania. She clerked for the late Honorable Gene E.K. Pratter and interned for the Honorable Lynne A. Sitarski, both of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Sara earned her JD from Vanderbilt University Law School and her BA from University of Maryland College Park.

Eileen Bradley

Insurance Coverage, Litigation

Eileen Bradley advises insurers and underwriters on various insurance coverage issues and related disputes, involving policy obligations as well as bad faith issues. Eileen also litigates coverage disputes. Before joining the firm, Eileen was an associate at an international law firm as well as at a defense litigation firm. She also served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Marjorie O. Rendell of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, where she researched legal issues, drafted memoranda and reviewed appellate briefs. Eileen earned her JD from Temple University Beasley School of Law and her BS from Fordham University.
